Talking to your child about their diagnosis is tricky!

Our Brains was built to help.

For years, The Brain Building Books have helped practitioners empower children to embrace their unique brains.  Now there’s a resource for parents and caregivers to do the same.

This workbook is designed to help you and your child understand your unique brains…together.  Using engaging images and metaphors, each activity will help your child understand what makes their brain – and yours – unique.

Want to get started now?

Schedule a 1-1 consultation with Dr. Liz to help you understand your child’s unique brain, identify strategies for supporting them, and find language for sharing this knowledge with them directly.

In this session, we will:

  • Understand your child’s profile from a neurodiversity-affirming perspective
  • Create language to help your child understand their diagnosis
  • Discuss strategies for talking to your child
  • Create a personalized Brain Building Book which I will mail to you the next day!

If you live in California, we can also schedule a series of sessions for your child to meet with me directly.  If you would like to schedule sessions for your child, please email me directly at Liz@DrLizAngoff.com.

Can I just buy the Brain Building Book for my child?

The Brain Building Books were originally designed for practitioners to use with clients.  I am currently developing a version of the Brain Building Books specifically for parents to use with their own children.

If you’d like to be notified when the parent version is available, please complete this form.

In the meantime, if you would like your child’s therapist, tutor, or psychologist to use The Brain Building Book with your child, please share this website with them, or email me directly at Liz@DrLizAngoff.com.
